We offer a range of digital services to cater for all branches of film and digital photography.

We can write to CD from any 35mm or APS negatives, either during or after developing - see below for further details.

We also write to CD from digital memory cards and are able to scan at varying resolutions to suit your needs.

Prints can be made from digital files whether they be on CD, memory card, or Zip disc.

We also make prints from mobile phones. These are done instore while you wait and can be zoomed and cropped, enhanced, enlarged ... all in minutes!

Local customers can also use this facility to print quickly from digital files, either from CD or memory card. Or you can download your images for printing later and take your card away. Please see instore for pricing.

Digital Media examples:

APS to CD

We can scan your previously developed APS films to CD for just £2.50 per film, regardless of number of exposures. We put up to five films on each CD and if you have a preference as to which films are on the CD just list the film ID numbers accordingly.

The images are saved in jpeg format at a resolution of approximately 1394 x 2444 giving an opened file size of around 10.3mb per image.

As we use Digital Ice scanning technology any dust on the surface of the negatives is automatically removed to give a clean sharp scan.

The minimum order is two films but we will handle any quantity. For orders of up to 20 films the work would normally be completed and dispatched on the day of receipt, but all work should be returned within 3 days.

35mm Negatives To CD

Once 35mm negatives are cut into strips then the task of scanning to CD becomes more time consuming. For scanning full sets of negatives the cost is £5.00 for one 36 exp film but for the equivalent of five or more full 36 exp films the cost is reduced to £4.00 per set.

The scan resolution of 35mm films is approximately 2048 x 3072 which will give an opened file size of around 18mb per image. As above, we use Digital Ice scanning technology to remove dust particles on the surface of the negatives.

Undeveloped films to CD

If you have an undeveloped 35mm or APS film that you only want scanning to CD with no prints then the cost is just £3.50 per film, which includes developing the negatives and scanning to CD as above. Negatives and CD will be returned to you.

Please remember that all our prices include return first class postage but should you wish your order to be sent back using Royal Mail Special Delivery please add £5.00 to the order total.
